After a fair amount of sweat and a few tears this summer we’re proud to finally launch our new website for Chiltern Catering and Event Hire. It’s a huge step forwards with new functionality, products and content to help you get an even better deal for your catering equipment hire, exhibition furniture and event hire.
The first thing you might notice new is the carriage calculator on the front page. We’ve always had a commitment to being open and honest with our pricing and this new widget is our latest step towards that. Simply enter your venue postcode into the box and it will tell you exactly how much standard delivery will cost.
We’ve also added a Premium delivery option to the checkout. Premium delivery is useful for when you know that there will be no one available to assist our driver with delivery or collection. You can select this option to ensure that there will be two people in the van for your delivery, ensuring a speedy and efficient service particularly with heavy items.

One thing we’ve noticed over the summer is just how many events are now happening in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. From big events at places like Arena MK to trade shows and exclusive launches, it seems that there is something interesting happening every day. This is reflected in the increase of event hire orders we’ve received, while our customers have given us valuable feedback about product lines that we need to add.
We’ve taken all that on board and have spent time looking through our categories and products to see how we can better serve our customers. Our procurement team have been working with suppliers to improve quality of products and to ensure we have everything available that you could need on site.
All this hard work has been done during our busiest ever summer, which has impacted on just how quickly we can answer emails and calls.
